Does Heritage Baptist Academy take the Education Freedom Scholarship?
Yes. Heritage Baptist Academy signed up for EFS for 2026-27, which means a scholarship holder can apply the $7,530 to tuition and required fees here and keep any remainder for approved costs.
The parent approves each school charge in the EFS portal, and TDOE funds the account in four installments across the year.
Can an MSCS-zone ESA student use the account at Heritage Baptist Academy?
Yes. Heritage Baptist Academy is on TDOE's West Tennessee ESA list updated September 24, 2026. A student zoned to Memphis-Shelby County Schools whose prior-year income is at or below twice the free-lunch guideline can bring a $10,132.54 ESA here in place of EFS.
The 2027-28 ESA application runs February 2 to April 15, 2027. The school's own address does not decide eligibility; the student's zoned public school does.
