How many Catholic schools in Memphis accept the Education Freedom Scholarship?

9 of the 10 Catholic records in our directory signed up for EFS in 2026-27, and 9 also carry ESA approval. They include the parish schools of the Catholic Schools of Memphis system, St. Benedict at Auburndale, Christian Brothers High School and St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School.

The one Catholic record without a state listing is Immaculate Conception Cathedral School, which appears only in the 2021-22 federal survey and is not on the diocese's current school list.

What does Catholic school cost in Memphis for 2026-27?

Published 2026-27 tuition at St. Benedict at Auburndale is $17,880 for the traditional program; at St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School it is $20,500 for grades 1-6 and $23,725 for grades 9-12, plus a dining fee. EFS would cover about 42% of St. Benedict's price, and the MSCS-zone ESA about 57%.

The rest usually comes from FACTS need-based aid, sibling discounts and, for Shelby County families, MOST.

When are Catholic school aid deadlines in Memphis for 2027-28?

St. Agnes-St. Dominic opens FACTS aid on November 1, 2026, with returning families due December 1 and new families February 1, 2027. Other schools post their own windows, so check each one.

Those dates overlap the EFS application, which ran in January last year, and the ESA window that opens February 2, 2027.
