How does the Edu Fund Partner Scholarship work for Memphis families?

The Edu Fund Partner Scholarship is a private fund that helps families at participating church and community schools after state money and school aid are counted. Its terms differ by participating school and are confirmed by an advisor during the funding check; no amount is promised ahead of time.

It is most useful at small congregation-run schools in Shelby County that hold only Category IV approval and therefore cannot accept EFS or the ESA.

How can a family tell whether a school takes part?

Your advisor will tell you on the funding call whether a school you like is in the program. Everything else on this site, from EFS to MOST, is written the same way for every school, in the program or not.

Families leaning toward home-based Christian education sometimes compare online programs such as American Faith Academy (AmFaith). In Tennessee, state money can only follow a student to a provider on that program's approved list, so confirm with TDOE before enrolling.
